Manager, Fp&A Content (Xico)

Position: FP&A CoE DTC Content Manager

We are looking for a leader to manage a domain within the Finance Planning & Analysis Center of Excellence (CoE), driving the transformation roadmap for content spend management. The role requires proactive forecasting, reporting, and analysis of content P&L and balance sheet, leading a team of analysts, and providing insights to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for content P&L and balance sheet.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior and junior analysts, ensuring strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
• Provide deep financial insights and actionable recommendations to commercial teams and senior management.
• Maintain high data quality across content databases and populate financial data points.
• Drive simplification projects to improve efficiency and process improvements.
• Build and maintain relationships with department members, external partners, and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with FP&A standards and support content ROI analysis.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with FP&A partners to evaluate financial impact of strategy/programming decisions (e.g., business plans, content ROI analysis) – 25%
• Generate insights on content and production investments, provide ad‑hoc reporting for senior management – 25%
• Support forecasts and budgets for global scope with content budget holders; provide variance analysis – 25%
• Ensure data quality of managed content databases and drive improvement projects – 25%
• Serve as reference for analysts, share best practices, and build relationships across COE and business partners – 25%

Qualifications & Experience

• 4+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or advanced study preferred.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, SmartView and other financial software; shared business services experience is a plus.
• Experience in entertainment industry preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
