Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Supervisor de Producción.What you’ll do:Job Summary:The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of the production plan.This role ensures the achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and Culture (SQDCI) targets within the assigned area, driving team performance through effective supervision, problem-solving, and adherence to standard work.The position plays a key role in maintaining operational stability by coordinating resources, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork aligned with Eaton’s Culture: Win Together, Act Boldly, and Think Big.Job Responsibilities:A. Promote and maintain a safe work environment by fostering a culture of accident prevention, conducting investigations, ensuring equipment safety, and enforcing compliance with safety rules; identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the assigned area.B. Monitor and report daily production performance, ensuring accurate communication of results and deviations.C. Coordinate and effectively utilize resources to resolve manufacturing issues, improve processes, and meet internal and external customer requirements.D. Identify training needs and ensure effective implementation of training programs to enhance workforce capability and performance.E. Administer workforce activities including attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions, ensuring compliance with company policies.F. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives by applying Eaton Business System (EBS) tools, including Lean Manufacturing, Eaton Lean System (ELS), and 5S methodologies.G. Maintain accurate inventory control and reporting, while driving actions to reduce work-in-progress (WIP), improve material flow, and identify cost reduction opportunities.H. Support the establishment and achievement of departmental goals; monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.I. Ensure proper identification, segregation, and control of non-conforming materials within the production area.J. Partner with Human Resources in employee lifecycle processes, including selection, development, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations, in compliance with Eaton policies.K. Monitor machinery, equipment, and facilities, initiating maintenance actions as needed to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.L. Promote and reinforce Eaton’s values, ethics, and quality policies within the team, ensuring alignment with company vision.M. Motivate, coach, and engage employees to achieve high levels of performance, quality, and satisfaction, leveraging recognition programs to drive engagement and retention.N. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all production and quality documentation (e.g., TPMs, checklists, control charts), maintaining traceability and audit readinessQualifications:Education level required: Engineering degree or related fields required.#LI-MB2Years and area of experience required:2-3 years experience desire in a related manufacturing, engineering environment or with personnel management responsibilities.Technical knowledge:Quality systems (ISO standards, audits, electrical compliance, EQMS), Management systems, Participate in and demonstrate positive attitude towards Continuous Improvement Projects, RIE, Value stream mapping and other Continuous improvement activities, Health and safety programs.Skills:Think big, win together and act boldlyAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
