Treasury Manager

Summary: The Latin American Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the financial and monetary aspects of a business, including cash flow, liquidity, funding, and relationships with financial institutions. Ensures the financial stability and efficiency of the organization and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree and certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
• Experience: Typically requires 8+ years of experience in regional treasury or financial management, with some supervisory experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in financial software and tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cash Management: Oversee daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Investment Management: Manage the company’s investment portfolio to optimize returns while minimizing risk.
• Debt Management: Handle debt issuance, repayment, and compliance with debt covenants. Works with Corporate Treasury to obtain comfort letters and other instruments necessary to support the entities in each country.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency and interest rate risks.
• Banking Relationships: Maintain and negotiate terms with banks and other financial institutions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management.
• Performance bonds management: Works with the Treasury Dept. and Risk Management Dept. to obtain performance and warranty bonds to support projects execution in the countries.
