Advanced Segment Buyer

What you’ll do:

• Specifically responsible for Divisional Segment Purchasing of Plastics, in support of multiple Product Lines.
• Works within a purchasing team to create a purchasing strategy for a segment of goods.
• Supports Product Area Manager & Global Lead Buyer.
• Evaluates vendor quotes, services, and savings, to determine the most desirable suppliers.
• Works all aspects of vendor relationship management and lifecycle.
• Supports divisional workshops & Zero-Defect Strategy with Supplier Quality.
• Relates specifically to Raw Materials purchasing, new technology and manufacturing methods.

What is required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Advanced English skills
• Previous experience in Purchasing, Standard Components, Raw Material Trends, Engineering, Quality, Negotiation
