About the Role

As aConference ProduceratReuters Events, you will:

• Have a positive impact on a range ofcritical industries(such as sustainable business, pharmaceutical, energy and Ai) by working with leading brands and figures within these sectors. Your conferences will ultimately shape how these industries react to specific opportunities and variety of challenges.
• Create world-class commercially successful eventsand develop excellent commercial skills. You will use your commercial acumen to spot and pursue growing markets and commercial opportunities.
• Research markets, get to grips with hot business issues, develop conference agendas and conduct high-profile marketing campaigns.
• Be part of acollaborative,diverseandinspired team.
• Create industry relationshipswith core decision-makers, find new ways to market and reach your industry, develop sales calling plans to reach financial goals.
• To be absolutely clear, you will be a conference creator not a conference organiser! You won't be answerable to a client, organising coffee or booking space at hotels.

About You

To be our nextConference Producer, you will likely:

• Have a degree in any discipline with thedesire to learnhow to create intriguing and exciting conferences (full training provided).
• Have prior event experience.
• Becommercially drivenand keen to understand the commercial drivers behind our customers decisions, as our job is to help them make smarter ones!
• A strong commercial mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and willingness to take ownership, combined with excellent research and analytical skills and a target-driven approach.
• The ability to identify emerging business trends and translate them into must-attend events for senior executives, with the drive and creativity to develop compelling event propositions.
• Communication skills both in-person, via email and on the phone are essential to pitching your event, working with colleagues, clients and other key stakeholders and to build relationships.
• Thrive in a fast-paced,collaborative, high-growth environment and work well in a team.
