Manufacturing IT Support Engineer

This is a technical support role inside a manufacturing plant that produces electronic boards (PCBs = printed circuit boards) . The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between production (factory) and IT systems that control the manufacturing process.

This is an on-site role (Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon)

Think of this role as:

“Make sure the factory systems and tools work correctly so production doesn’t stop.”

You will:

• Support the software used in the factory (MES systems)
• → These systems track what is being produced, steps in the process, quality, etc.
• Help with PCB manufacturing processes
• → Not necessarily designing electronics, but understanding how boards are built so they can support issues
• Troubleshoot issues in production systems
• → Example: if a machine cannot register a product step, they help fix it
• Work with data (SQL)
• → Check or update information in databases (production data, errors, etc.)
• Handle labeling systems (Bartender)
• → Make sure product labels (barcodes, serials) print correctly

Must-have profile:

• Someone who has already worked in a factory that builds electronics
• Has supported manufacturing software systems (MES)
• Knows SQL (querying data, debugging issues)
• Has used Bartender (label printing software)

Nice-to-have

• Experience with AEGIS (a specific MES/analytics tool used in electronics manufacturing)
