Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manages and supervises the Production Engineering org unit according to defined objectives and KPIs
• Designs and leads initiatives with regard to Production Engineering
• Takes responsibility for standards, governance and processes in area of responsibility
• Defines and steers budgets for the development of activities within area of responsibility
• Manages and supervises multiple org units within Production Engineering
• Proposes and implements measures for improving team performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth
• Functional accountability for Production Engineering on plant level
• Directs the execution of activities for Plant Engineering (all product types)
• Production Engineering activities in projects and the implementation of the production concept
• Ensures the implementation of defined standards relating to equipment, processes, software and systems within the Plant Engineering organization
• Ensures the support and implementation of product, process optimizations and VAVE coordination

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical, or related field.
• 5 years of professional experience in similar position.
• Products & Process of Commercial Vehicles and automotive (Harness manufacturing)
• Infrastructure integration and cross-functional leadership
• Proven track record of complex products in their launch under demanding timelines
• Depth technical analysis, supplier integration, and risk mitigation
• Skilled at aligning multidisciplinary teams toward cost, quality, and performance objectives
• Core tools and Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies
• Engineering Design Tools
• ERP Planning Systems
• Advanced English level (spoken and written)
