Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Interim Accounts Receivable Specialist for a multinational company located in Monterrey.

This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven professional who can quickly step into the operation, strengthen collection efforts, resolve outstanding issues, and help improve cash flow performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable and collections activities for B2B customer accounts.
• Follow up on past-due balances and drive timely customer payments.
• Apply and reconcile incoming payments accurately.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, and payment disputes.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify risks, process gaps, and opportunities to improve AR performance.
• Provide accurate reporting and visibility into overdue balances and collection progress.
• Support initiatives focused on reducing aging and improving cash flow.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Accounts Receivable and collections experience.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican AR processes, cash application, account reconciliation, and dispute management.
• Experience in multinational B2B or manufacturing environments.
• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Proven success in reducing overdue balances and improving cash flow performance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
