Technical Recruiter (Part-Time, Contract) - Mexico City, Remote

Role Description

G2 Advisors is partnering with a high-growth fintech company to hire a part-time Recruiter focused on the Mexico City market. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role of approximately 5–20 hours per week.

The Recruiter will own the top of the hiring funnel for Tech and Go to Market talent in Mexico City (sourcing, personalized outreach, and candidate screening) including targeted, high-touch searches for Senior Software Engineers.

This company is building at real scale and is looking for a self-directed recruiter who can build pipelines independently, advise on the local talent market, and collaborate asynchronously with a New York–based team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants real ownership of a market, flexible hours, and direct partnership with engineering and recruiting leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience sourcing and engaging senior engineers; fintech, payments, or banking hiring experience is advantageous
• Experience recruiting across both Tech and Go to Market roles, including higher-volume pipelines
• Deep knowledge of the Mexico City talent market
• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English
• Strong hands-on sourcing skills, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and personalized outreach that converts
• Comfort with modern recruiting tools (ATS and sourcing platforms; Ashby and Juicebox experience is a plus)
• Ability to run sourcing and screening with autonomy and work asynchronously across time zones
• Comfortable with startup pace, ambiguity, and switching between very different role types
