Process Engineer/QC

We are QST Solutions , formerly Wabash Technologies de México , a manufacturing company based in Mexicali specializing in automotive electronic components and sensing technologies. The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes for automotive sensor fabric products to ensure high quality, operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance with automotive industry standards. Analyze workflow, equipment performance, labor utilization, and material flow to improve operational efficiency.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Create and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and process flow diagrams.

Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve manufacturing and product issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, 8D, and root cause analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.
