We are looking for a regional Strategic Sourcing Manager to manage HPS projects spend for automation projects in the North America region. You will have regional responsibility for driving competitive sourcing strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will drive business opportunities along with the Sales and Operational leaders to exceed their Growth and Operational objectives enabling profitability. You will manage a team of buyers to deliver a competitive advantage to the business by leveraging spend, processes, and tools of the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Strategic Sourcing Specialist and foster teamwork and diversity.

Lead team to deliver on Annual Operating Plan (AOP); top goals: Pre & post-award productivity, working capital (by extending supplier pay terms), supplier consolidation and driving PSL strategy.

Team’s development by coaching/ mentoring and training; development of goals and objectives to comply with AOP and business needs.

Ensure all procurement/sourcing due diligence has been followed before issuing a new PO for external suppliers (competitive bidding, productivity achievements, e-Auction, etc.)

Manage supplier relationships and ensure supplier performance

Negotiate contracts (long term agreements) with supplier and assist team on supplier escalations

Reduce supply risk and manage business expectations for third party packages

Work on a project when it’s an opportunity till it becomes a real project and assist in successfully execution of the project

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's or above degree
• 5-7 years in strategic sourcing function
• 3+ years of sourcing leadership experience (preferably in projects environment)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the company
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Prior team management skills
• Experience negotiating contracts
