Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated individual looking to further their career in the Logistics field. The Sales Manager will have established a high level of consistency in developing a strong customer base and meeting or exceeding sales goals. This position requires someone that has demonstrated the ability to develop strong relationships both within the department and with other department heads that support the overall sales process. A strong knowledge in pricing various modes and ability manage through RFP’s through a wide range of industries. This role will also be responsible for training new hires in areas of prospecting, pricing, working closely with Carrier Procurement and call strategy. Other duties may include developing sales contests, hiring/firing, primary Site oversight and overall strategy for growth of office.

As Sales Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong carrier and customer relationships, developing pricing strategies, and driving business growth across intra-Mexico and cross-border operations. This role blends day-to-day sales execution with strategic planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You’ll also lead and mentor sales teams, manage performance, and contribute to the development of new opportunities in diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Development & Management
Grow and maintain a robust customer base across multiple industries.
Analyze trends to refine sales strategies and maximize revenue.
Conduct business reviews and performance reporting.
Pricing & Quoting
Develop carriers’ relationships and competitive rates for truckload, LTL, and multimodal services.
Assess market conditions and collaborate with carriers for capacity and cost data.
Deliver accurate and timely quotes.
Sales Team Leadership
Guide and support the sales team through coaching and performance management.
Oversee daily activities and training to ensure sales targets are met.
Strategic Contribution
Participate in shaping business strategy and identifying market opportunities.
Align sales initiatives with company growth objectives.
Administrative & Reporting
Track KPIs and deliver reports to leadership.
Utilize Turvo and Power BI for account management and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Proven ability to build relationships internally and externally.
Experience developing pricing strategies across multiple transportation modes.
Strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset.
Familiarity with intra-Mexico and cross-border logistics.
Language:
~ Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in English & Spanish fluently .
