Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Global Analyst- Pricing Ops.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary
This position is a part of SMC_APMR CoE responsible for coordinating between Sales and Business Division.
• Act as the pricing contact to supports the Global CPRO country sales organizations for price management in assigned region(s) or country(s) including Pricing approvals, TSP requests through global pricing platform.
• Partner with Business leaders from our global Sales & Pricing organizations to understand business issues and bring forward innovative solutions to those problems
• Liaison with Pricing/Business Analyst and Pricing Managers, Eaton Sales Team and Product Management.
• Identify and implement optimization opportunities, devise and drive action plan for new pricing initiatives in coordination with cross-functional resources.
• Drive value addition and process efficiency by developing analytical models,rigorous process and pricing guidelines reviews."

Job Responsibilities
•Review and coordinate is gaining price quotations, discounts usingmark-ups for internal eaton sales organisations
•Proactively engage the Pricing manager and Product Line Managers (PLMs) by providing insights on how to optimize price recommendations through strategic pricing actions. Develop strong relationships to understand their needs and requirements during the price approval process.
•Work with Product Managers and Country sales organizations to gain understanding of all products and their respective market places to make the proper pricing proposals with respect to marketing guidance ,business objectives (promotion, one-time discount) and customer value drivers by segment
•Gain Understanding Pricing Process ,Create, publish, and improvise price metrics reporting for Pricing Managers, Eaton Sales Team, and Product Management. Understanding of Customer, Product and Price mix with ability to positively impact these by implementing strategies via price approvals.
•Extract insights into and uncover potential pricing issues based on analysis methods such as target price variance, win/loss, customer revenue/profitability, list prices and discounts structures
•Develop analytical tools/models focusing price positioning and identifying target price gaps to drive Price optimization leading to faster, efficient, and accurate price approvals.
•Own implementation of pricing changes internally with cross-functional teams. Maintain tools, reporting & scorecards to track key metrics and value captured from pricing activities." #LI-DG2

Qualifications:

Education level required

Graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics. MBA (Preferably Marketing and Finance )

Years and area of experience required

2 years of experience in pricing activities

Skills:

Technical knowledge

•Strong understanding of Pricing concepts Margins, Discounts and Mark-Ups. Possesses strong, expert knowledge in advanced strategic pricing models and tool.
•Strong analytical skills with ability to Mine data, analyze and interpret results using standard statistical tools and techniques.
•Understanding of Process improvement tool and techniques
•MS-office suite, Power Bi tool proficiency
•Experience of working on BI tools like OBIEE and ERPs like SAP
•Exposure to RPA tools like Power automate will be added advantage"

Soft skills

Excellent communication /Interpersonal skills to lead meetings with leadership team, Trainings and Meeting with internal team, Good oral and written communication.
Good organizational and time management skills along with Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities"
