Your Role

• Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, plans, and scripts for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain performance test scripts using **K6** and/or **Apache JMeter**.
• Perform load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
• Analyze test results and identify application, database, infrastructure, and network bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, SRE, and architecture teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left quality practices.
• Generate performance reports and provide recommendations for system optimization.
• Monitor application performance using observability and APM tools.
• Participate in capacity planning and production readiness activities.
• Support root cause analysis for performance-related incidents in non-production and production environments.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with **K6 and/or Apache JMeter**.
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and web applications.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience analyzing JVM, application, database, and infrastructure performance metrics.
• Knowledge of REST, TCP/IP, caching, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and database performance analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as **AWS, Azure, or GCP**.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
• Dynatrace
• AppDynamics
• New Relic
• Grafana
• Prometheus
• Splunk
• Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using:
• GitHub Actions
• Azure DevOps
• Jenkins

As Performance test engineer you focus on the validation of the performance aspect (response timers, peak load) of applications. You are involved in the automated verification and validation of the performance aspect of system under test.

You are a leading QA Performance Specialist who can set up a complete performance test automation solution at concept level. Your clear vision allows you to persuade colleagues and customers with valid arguments. As Performance Test Specialist you have in depth knowledge of at least one expertise in the field of test automation tools and techniques. This knowledge enables you to engage in the automated verification and validation of products that engineers have developed.
