Tutero is an AI education company building the technology that lets great teachers do their best work — wherever they teach. We're hiring experienced online teachers across Mexico to deliver personalized, 1-on-1 lessons to students in the United States.

If you love teaching but are tired of crowded classrooms, endless prep, and admin that eats your evenings — this is teaching the way it should be.

Two things to check before you apply

1. You'll teach both English and Mathematics. Our families usually need help in both, so we match teachers who can cover both subjects. The only exception: if you majored in English or in Mathematics, you can apply to teach that subject on its own.

2. Apply in English. Your CV and your entire application must be written in English. Every lesson is taught in English to US students, so this is the first thing we look at — applications in Spanish won't move forward.

Availability requirements

We hire based on the hours you can cover, not just the subjects you teach. Our students are in the US, so lessons happen after their school day.

• 15+ hours per week , including 8+ hours between 4–10 PM ET (≈ 2–8 PM Mexico City)
• Tell us your exact weekly availability in that window when you apply — the more hours you can offer, the more students we can match you with, and the more you earn
• Ready to commit for at least 18 months — our students stay with the same teacher, so continuity matters (and it means steady, ongoing work for you)

What we're looking for

• A qualified teacher or experienced tutor
• Able to teach both English and Mathematics (K–12) — or a major in one of them
• Fluent, confident English — you'll teach, and communicate with families, entirely in English
• Comfortable with basic tech: reliable internet, a headset, and a computer
• A warm, strong communicator who builds real relationships with students and families
• Special Education experience (K–8) is a strong bonus
