Proposals and Sales Engineer

The role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Growth team.

Your goal will be to lead the Proposal team in Latin America and provide support to the sales team to grow our client portfolio.

Your key responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Sales Engineering and Bidding team in Latin America , overseeing daily operations with support from the Prposal team from Spain.
• Global Reporting: Report directly to the Global Head of Proposal in Spain , acting as the key link between regional operations and global leadership.
• Tender & Specification Analysis: Perform end-to-end analysis of RFPs, technical specifications, and client requirements to formulate competitive bid strategies.
• Budgeting & Costing: Prepare, review, and optimize financial budgets, economic evaluations, and commercial proposals.
• Proposal Development: Coordinate and execute all technical, administrative, and economic documentation required for bid submissions.
• Bid Follow-up: Monitor submitted proposals, lead technical clarifications, and support commercial negotiations until award.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with Legal and Purchasing departments to align on contract terms, risk assessment, and procurement strategies.
• Planning & Reporting: Establish bid timelines, manage resource allocation, and generate regular status reports for global upper management.

Your expertise and skills

• At least 5 years of experience in a bidding department.
• Education: Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in the Renewable Energy, ideally also in SCADA.
• Technical skills such as: electrical panels, weather stations, communication panels, RAC, Servers, etc.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• English: B2-C1 (test will be performed at interview).
