Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned local small and medium-sized customer accounts, addressing day-to-day operational needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customer contacts by providing timely and professional support.
• Receive, enter, and process customer purchase orders following established procedures.
• Process customer sample requests in accordance with company procedures.
• Receive and coordinate the resolution of customer complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
• Process customer requests for documents such as certificates, specifications, and other required documentation.
• Ensure all customer requests are completed accurately and within established response times.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure proper filing of all documentation.
• Keep the assigned Sales Representative informed of customer requests, order status, and any relevant issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
• Support the Accounts Receivable team by following up on customer documentation and collection-related requests when required.
• Escalate complex customer issues or key account requirements to the Customer Service Supervisor or Senior Customer Service Representative.
• Support the Customer Service team with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
