Sr Compliance Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Oversight of investigation of complex multi-jurisdictional corporate fraud and corruption matters, including matters involving financial impropriety such as expense reports irregularities, vendor impropriety, conflicts of interests, retaliation, sales deal and vendor contracting execution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Analysis of investigation data to identify financial cost and trends of non-compliance

· Partner with compliance counsel and management to identify and mitigate control gaps and weaknesses.

· Indirectly and directly manage active compliance investigation caseload in coordination with regional compliance counsel

· People management oversight of the members of the Global Forensic Instigations group, including oversight of work load and quality, budget / expense management, annual performance management and rewards assessment and professional development

· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

· Proven ability to collaborate and partner on development and implementation of training and communication

· Required experience investigating complex and multi-jurisdictional corporate financial fraud and corruption compliance matters. Working knowledge of FCPA and UK Bribery Act

· Proven ability to manage investigation case load in a complex environment to track and deliver measurable results.

· Proven ability to work efficiently and proactively, prioritizing workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment with limited day to day guidance.

· Proven ability to compile and analyze financial metrics and data and report on related trends and observations in a straightforward, helpful manner.

· Proven effective organizational agility, analytical and creative thinking, and written and verbal communication skills.

· Proven ability to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing. Writing samples may be required.

· Proven effective interpersonal, cultural competency, and the ability to work as part of a team.

· Proven successful experience as a function leader and people manager

· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters preferred (MBA), CPA or international equivalent preferred.

· Minimum of 15+ years work-related experience, preferably in a global corporation with knowledge of regional compliance and regulatory requirements. Direct experience conducting end to end, internal compliance, or financial fraud investigations.

· Excellent written and spoken English

· High Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
