POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. They work with a team of engineers to ensure network performance, security, and reliability. This role also troubleshoots network issues and provides technical support to end-users visiting in person the plants/offices or remotely. They may also be responsible for researching and recommending new network technologies and solutions to improve network efficiency and performance. This role involves configuring and installing of switches access points, managing core network services, performing hardware replacements, and supporting day-to-day LAN and WLAN operations across office and CoLo data center environments

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a similar role.
• Experience driving platforms such as Aruba Central , (Implementing, Installing, configurating, trouble shouting, firmware updates, o access points, migrations, patch update, site surveys).
• Strong experience in administration and management of brand Cisco switches.
• Desirable knowledges in Ekahau and Cisco routers.
• A valid US visa is required. Candidates should be open to travel, including potential trips abroad, depending on project or business needs.
• Proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading comprehension)
• Easy access to the work center located in Caujimalpa, CDMX, open to work 2 days from home per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support on implementation of enterprise LAN, Wireless, SDWAN and Security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in person or remotely using ITIL methodology
• Perform network maintenance and upgrades in person or remotely by conducting rack-and-stack, configuration, cabling and RMAs
• Ensure IT/OT network security and compliance
• Provide technical support to end-users and participate in on-call rotation for network support. Includes collaborate with other IT Infrastructure areas to provide on-site support and troubleshoot for computers, printers, mobile and videoconference equipment when required.
• Participate in network planning and budgeting
• Assist in the development of network policies, SOPs, network diagrams and maintain an accurate CMDB inventory.
• Monitor network performance and capacity
