Sales Development Representative

About the Position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) identifies and generates sales opportunities through outbound sales activities. The ideal candidate performs well in demanding yet collaborative settings, think out-of-the-box, easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The ideal candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect. The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of proven outbound SDR or quota-carrying sales experience. This person will thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured work environment, with the desire to not only exceed their quota but to define processes and workflows that enable future outbound SDRs to be successful. This position reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Account Management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business leads and enhance existing relationships through both outbound and inbound lead development.
  • Partner with Sales Directors and Marketing to develop strategic email cadences and targeted Account-based Based Marketing (ABM) sequencing.
  • Utilize prospecting and research tools, coordinate with assigned sales reps to qualify opportunities; and prepare for and book pitch meetings with target prospects.
  • Work directly with the Account Management team on growth opportunities for our existing clients.
  • Strategize with team members to innovate & improve the overall sales development process.

Requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • 2+ years of proven outbound SDR experience.
  • A quantitative track record of exceptional performance with lead generation experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • A self-starter with strong experience with outbound lead generation.
  • Product intuition and business acumen; you are able to understand how Distillery provides different values to different customers depending on their role, industry, technical aptitude.
  • Experience using sales and marketing tools like Salesforce, Hubspot Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, and Dripify Very strong work ethic with the confidence to work autonomously.
  • Highly motivated to succeed both individually and with a fast-growing company.
  • Excellent prioritization, project management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Curious by nature; wants to bring a growth mindset to work every day.
