The Procurement Analytics Specialist is responsible for solving procurement challenges through data analysis, data visualization, business intelligence, automation, innovation, and process optimization. The Specialist works as an individual contributor, facilitates KPI performance monitoring and management across procurement, and acts as a mentor to other junior team members in procurement analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, and analyze supply chain processes, operational measures, cost metrics, key performance indicator (KPIs), and other related areas.
- Translate business requirements/problem statements into analytical solutions.
- Develop user-friendly data visualization products that drive performance monitoring and KPI management across supply chain.
- Utilize analytical and business intelligence technical expertise to carry out multiple analytical projects across different data platforms and domains.
- Partner with data engineering and technology groups to optimize necessary data flow and data transformation to achieve high-performance visualization products.
- Drive analytics adoption through connecting with global stakeholders to identify actionable business opportunities that drive value using analytical tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- 2+ years of experience in analytics and advanced visualization using Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau.
- 2+ years of experience in SQL – solid ability to query data from data marts, named spaces or normalized views, using SQL or an ETL software (e.g., Tableau Prep, Alteryx).
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis – solid ability to create dynamic dashboards using aggregations, proper formatting and various tools.
- 3+ years' experience in supply chain operations: planning, procurement, inventory management, fulfillment or logistics.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced degree in Data Analytics.
- Hands‑on experience in SAP, Oracle, ERP, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Hands‑on experience in Python or PowerApps.
- Ability to understand ambiguous issues/situations, distill learning and simplify.
- Innovative, creative, and proactive.
- Maintain a high sense of ownership and work independently rather than being task‑oriented.
