Programme Context

The programme is implementing Coupa as the core Finance ERP/procurement platform, integrated with the existing Guidewire claims management system and PeopleSoft. A large IT consultancy is delivering the functional workstream. The role below cover the technical build and act as the interface between Group Transformation, the delivery partner, and vendors, across local country rollouts in Spain, Mexico and Argentina.

Role summary

Owns delivery of the technical build and integration workstream for the Finance ERP programme. Acts as the primary point of coordination between Group Transformation, the IT delivery partner, technology vendors (Coupa, Guidewire, PeopleSoft), and local country teams across the Spain, Mexico and Argentina rollouts.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the technical build and integration workstream plan, milestones, dependencies and budget across the 2-year programme.
• Trace every requirement (business and technical) to a design artifact and get explicit sign-off from the local country, the delivery partner, and the relevant vendor before build starts.
• Separate "global standard" from "local exception" early, and confirm local statutory, data residency, and process variants (Spain/Mexico/Argentina) are reflected in the design, not discovered at UAT.
• Validate integration requirements against actual vendor capabilities (Coupa, Guidewire, PeopleSoft — API limits, data volumes, batch vs real-time) before committing to the technical design.
• Act as the single point of coordination between Group Transformation, the delivery partner, and vendor teams (Coupa, Guidewire, PeopleSoft) on all technical delivery matters.
• Chair technical governance forums; maintain the RAID log; resolve cross-workstream blockers and escalate to programme leadership as needed.
• Manage resourcing, budget tracking, and vendor deliverables/SLAs for the technical workstream.
• Coordinate testing, environment readiness, and cutover/go-live planning across markets.
• Provide regular status reporting to the programme steering committee and Group Transformation stakeholders.
• Manage risk and change control across interfaces (Coupa–Guidewire, Coupa–PeopleSoft).

Required experience & skills:

• Proven PM experience delivering large-scale Finance ERP / procurement transformation programmes, ideally involving Coupa.
• Experience managing multi-vendor, multi-party delivery models (systems integrator + client + product vendors).
• Insurance sector experience preferred; familiarity with Guidewire is an advantage.
• Track record delivering multi-country rollouts, ideally spanning Latin America and Europe.
• Strong stakeholder management across global/group and local country organisations.
• Fluent English and Spanish (business-level, spoken and written) — essential.
• Formal PM certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum) desirable.

Required experience & skills:

• Proven Technical Lead / Solution Architect experience on Coupa implementations.
• Hands-on integration experience connecting Coupa with Guidewire and/or PeopleSoft (or comparable ERP/claims/HR platforms).
• Strong grasp of integration middleware, APIs, and data mapping across a multi-system finance landscape.
• Insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-country technical rollouts, ideally including Latin American markets.
• Fluent English and Spanish (business-level, spoken and written) — essential.

• Contract length 24 months (2-year contract)
• Start date Within 2–4 weeks
• Location / working pattern: Fully remote; working hours aligned to CET

• Day rate is 250–450 per day, dependent on experience (currency to be confirmed)
