It blends hands-on identity and access management execution with opportunities to apply systems knowledge to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scale.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess identity and access requests including provisioning, deprovisioning, and modifications based on approved service ticketsExecute joiner, mover, leaver activities to ensure user accounts and access are correctly established and removed in a timely mannerValidate approvals and ensure requests comply with established access control policies and proceduresFulfill access requests across enterprise systems such as Active Directory, cloud applications, and internal platformsSupport access review (certification) activities by gathering data, tracking responses, and updating recordsTroubleshoot and resolve common access issues including login failures, account lockouts, and missing permissionsIdentify opportunities to streamline or automate repetitive IAM tasks and partner with senior team members to implement improvementsContribute to scripting or configuration changes that improve IAM workflows, accuracy, or reportingMaintain accurate records of all actions performed within ticketing and identity systems to support auditabilityMeet defined SLAs for access request fulfillment and incident resolutionMaintain high accuracy rates on access provisioning to support audit and compliance requirementsFollow documented IAM processes and standard operating procedures consistentlyEscalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk requests to senior team members for reviewCollaborate with internal users, IT teams, and application owners to resolve access-related issuesPreferred Qualifications2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, security operations, identity and access management, or related systems administrationExperience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similarWorking knowledge of identity platforms such as Active Directory or Entra IDFamiliarity with access control principles including least privilege and role-based accessExposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar) is a plusBasic understanding of authentication concepts such as SSO, MFA, SAML, or OAuth is a plusStrong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes accuratelyAbility to manage a queue of requests and meet defined service level targetsBilingual English and Spanish written and verbal communication skillsGood communication skills and ability to work with internal stakeholders to resolve issuesBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experienceMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of cybersecurity-relevant work experience.ORHigh school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of cybersecurity-relevant work experience.Applicants : Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
