Vice President Ecommerce - LATAM Marketplace

Own the Amazon and Mercado Libre business for a market-leading consumer brand across Latin America's biggest markets. This is a build role, not a maintenance one.

Our client, a global consumer products company, treats eCommerce as its growth engine, and LATAM is where they are moving fastest. They are already live and winning on Amazon and Mercado Libre in Mexico and Brazil, and now they need the leader who takes that from strong to category-defining.

What you'll own and accomplish:

• Run the full regional P&L across Amazon and Mercado Libre in Mexico and Brazil: revenue, margin, trade spend, and forecasting, on both 1P (Vendor Central) and 3P (Seller Central).
• Turn early momentum into serious scale, growing the marketplace business several times over in the next three years.
• Build and lead the cross-functional pod that makes it happen (sales, marketing, digital advertising, finance, supply chain), including hiring your own directors.
• Be our client's voice with Amazon and Mercado Libre leadership, shaping joint business plans that move the market.
• Own digital advertising and retail media as real growth levers. This is a commercial and marketing role, not pure sales.
• Launch and scale the brand's products into new LATAM markets that are asking for them.

By the end of year one, success looks like a materially bigger Amazon and Mercado Libre business in Mexico, real traction in Brazil, and a team and operating rhythm built to keep compounding.

What you'll bring:

• You have personally run an Amazon and Mercado Libre marketplace P&L in Latin America, hands-on, across 1P and 3P.
• You have operated in-market in Mexico (Brazil or Argentina a strong plus), not from a distant HQ.
• You pair commercial P&L ownership with genuine marketing and retail-media strength.
• You move fast, live in the details, thrive without a finished playbook, and use AI to work smarter. If ambiguity and speed energize you, you will feel at home here.

Why you'll want it:

This is one of the highest-impact commercial roles at the company, with direct visibility to senior leadership and true ownership of a market they are betting big on. You will build something, not inherit it.

Location: Mexico City (preferred), Miami, or Argentina. Hybrid, with regional travel around one week a month.
