Tactical Inventory Planner

Responsible for tactical inventory planning. Reviews and calculates inventory levels to optimize inventory turnover for locations under geographical scope.

Responsibilities

• Inventory planning review as part of global SI&OP; process to develop and calculate optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze sales data, trends, and customer demand to develop optimal inventory plans.
• Employ inventory policies in coordination with Regional Inventory Manager.
• Measured on inventory availability, total inventory value, inventory turnover for agreed inventory types, SLOB reduction.
• Main point of contact towards Regional stakeholders (Regional Inventory Manager, general product line management, procurement, regional/global demand planning, general supply planning, logistics, order handling, sales).

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Business Administration or Supply Chain or equivalent knowledge acquired from extensive experience in warehouse or inventory management field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory planning.
• Well-developed communication skills, both interpersonal and organizational.
• Rapid and thorough independent decision-making and creative problem-solving skills.
• Preferably experience with implementing centralized inventory planning and SI&OP; process.
