Senior IT Specialist in Financial Accounting

Objective

The Senior IT Specialist – SAP Financial Accounting (FI) will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving SAP Finance (FI) solutions across global projects. This role ensures reliable, standardized, compliant financial processes and drives digital transformation and finance operations using SAP technologies.

We are looking for candidates with extensive SAP Finance experience, strong business process knowledge, and a passion for delivering innovative technology solutions in a global environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Financial Accounting (FI) implementation, enhancement, and global rollout projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP FI solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Configure, test, deploy, and support SAP FI functionalities following best practices.
• Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize financial processes.
• Ensure system reliability, data integrity, compliance, and adherence to global governance standards.
• Support integration between SAP FI and other SAP modules, ensuring seamless end-to-end business processes.
• Provide technical expertise and functional guidance during project execution and post-go-live support.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digitalization within Finance operations.
• Coordinate issue resolution, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in project planning, documentation, testing, user training, and change management activities.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of experience implementing and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) solutions.
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting processes, costing principles, and SAP Finance best practices.
• Experience integrating SAP FI with other SAP modules.
• Experience participating in global SAP implementation and transformation projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
• Language: English (full bilingual proficiency).
