Customer quality engineer (Zona Industrial)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and complaints.
• Investigate customer issues using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead root cause analysis and maintain documentation for all quality incidents.
• Prepare and submit quality reports, PPAPs, and other customer-required documentation.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics, customer scorecards, and trends to drive improvement initiatives.
• Participate in audits and customer visits; ensure readiness and compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure product quality from start to finish.
• Drive continuous improvement through quality system enhancements and lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
