We are currently searching for a Python Application Engineer :

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain serverless applications that orchestrate data pipelines.
• Synchronize highly sensitive investor data across Snowflake, Salesforce, and other API-driven platforms.
• Architect and deploy complex multi-step workflows to ensure data integrity and flow.
• Optimize data transformations and extraction processes utilizing Python and PyArrow for efficient ETL.
• Ensure reliable execution and performance across development, QA, and production environments.
• Manage infrastructure through code (IaC) using Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Implement state and caching solutions utilizing DynamoDB for pipeline metrics and execution state.
• Establish and maintain deep system observability using CloudWatch, DataDog (structured logging), and AWS X-Ray tracing.
• Build and maintain reliable REST API integrations (Salesforce, Anduin IDM, custom endpoints)

Requirements

• Core Development: Strong expertise in Python programming, specifically utilizing PyArrow for efficient ETL and data processing.
• Serverless Orchestration: Hands-on, daily experience with AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions to architect multi-step workflows.
• Data Warehousing: Proven experience extracting and storing structured data within Snowflake.
• Infrastructure & Deployment: Solid proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• State & Observability: Experience managing execution state with DynamoDB and monitoring distributed systems using CloudWatch, DataDog, and AWS X-Ray.
• API Integration: Deep experience integrating complex REST APIs (e.g., Salesforce, identity management systems like Anduin IDM).
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering" (architecting scalable, serverless data pipelines rather than just writing simple scripts).

Desired  

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
