Relationship Manager

Position/Job Purpose

• Develop Mexican markets with due knowledge and experience within a short period of time.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand market needs, identify potential opportunities and proactively participate in marketing and the product development cycle.
• Initiate credit business, project financing and syndication loans for commercial banking customers.
• Under the instruction of department head, lead the business development team to penetrate further into existing clients, increasing BOC's share of wallet.
• Under the instruction of department head, lead the business development team to gain market share by proactively winning business from new clients.
• Supervise the activities of the business development team and ensure that they adhere to the defined policies and procedures.
• Participate in the definition of performance metrics for the sales team and incentives.
• Control the execution and results of the business development process.

Experience and Knowledge

• Bachelor degree above.
• Experience in corporate banking business.
• Familiar and experience in project financing, syndicated/bilateral loan.
• Solid knowledge and market intelligence on corporate banking business in Mexican market.
• Preferably with the working experience in the Asian financing institution.
• Strong teamwork ethic.
• Good communication/presentation skills in English.
