Purpose and Objectives

The S/4HANA Cloud Consultant will act as trusted partner to our customers on their journey to the cloud, from scoping and planning of the initial deployment to continuous value engineering. The Consultant role requires deep understanding of the cloud business model, the ERP processes across functional borders, as well as a service-oriented attitude with the aim to achieve customer delight.

• Application specific solution consulting (Manufacturing – Implementation: understanding of Customer businesses through Business Driven Questionnaires, set up of Fit to Standard Workshops for Manufacturing, Execution configuration based on the results of the Business Driven Questionnaires and Fit to Standard Workshops, unit testing, support on the creation of test cases, support on test scheduling and execution, support on data migration, go live support, and post go live support. Agile methodology use cases.)
• Performance of feasibility studies solution reviews
• Support of pre-sales activities such as commercial proposals
• Support on Customer questions through SAP Communities

Expectations and Tasks

• Live and breath the cloud business model and the subsequent implications regarding the implementation & post-implementation service business
• Ensure customer success, satisfaction, and reference ability for S/4HANA Cloud customers
• Articulate the S/4HANA Cloud business capabilities and value, differentiate S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise solutions
• Utilize SAP Activate methodology, tools and processes to ensure successful customer adoption
• Deliver agile services in a fast-changing environment
• Support the industrialization of the implementation process
• Understand and practice value-based “fit to standard” delivery approach
• Position and Deliver transition roadmaps between On-Premise and Cloud solutions
• Drive the adoption of the value-based innovation roadmap and guide the customer in their journey
• Taking over responsibility from time to time as a sub project team leader.
• Demonstrating profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools.
• Being able to map and re-define business process in the warehouse.

Work Experience

• Experience implementation in SAP Manufacturing, considering Production Planning and Quality Management Line of Businesses
• Being involved at least on a TWO full cycle implementation in SAP Manufacturing.
• Good understanding of cross industry and specific planning of business processes
• Understands the Business Process in Manufacturing, considering Production Planning and Quality Management Line of Businesses.
• MUST Manufacturing and /or Logistics SAP Certification

Knowledge in Manufacturing Management processes: Planned Independent Requirements, Make to Order Manufacturing, Make to Stock Manufacturing, Variant Configuration, Discrete Manufacturing, Process Manufacturing, Repetitive Manufacturing, Materials Requirements Planning, Capacity Planning, Batch Management, Kanban, Master Data for Production (Material, Bill of Materials, Capacity, Work Center/Resource, Routing/Master Recipe/Production Line and Production Version), Quality Inspection Notification, Quality Inspection Lot, Quality Certificate, Quality Complaint, Nonconformance, Defect, Master Data for Quality (Code, Code Group, Selected Set, Master Inspection Characteristic, Inspection Method, Sampling Scheme, Sampling Procedure, Dynamic Modification Rule, Material, Capacity, Work Center, Inspection Plan, Quality Info Record) and relationships with other Line of Businesses as Finance (Costing), Procurement, Sales, Asset Management, Research & Development and Supply Chain.
