Position Summary

MezTal is looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our team in Guadalajara and support one of our U.S.-based clients in the healthcare industry.

We are looking for a detail-oriented creative professional with experience producing high-quality graphic, digital, video, and motion content . This role will support marketing, sales, education, and product communications by transforming technical and product information into clear, engaging, and professional visual materials.

The Multimedia Designer will create and maintain assets across print, digital, web, social media, presentations, product collateral, and events , including photography, short-form video, motion graphics, and simple animation.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both static design and video/motion production , can maintain strong brand consistency, and is able to collaborate in English with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Guadalajara, Jalisco , with occasional travel to the United States for events, trade shows, photo/video shoots, or other business needs.

Essential Responsibilities

Marketing & Sales Collateral

• Design marketing and sales materials, including brochures, sell sheets, catalogs, case studies, one-pagers, infographics, and product comparison guides.
• Create professional presentation decks and other sales enablement materials.
• Design trade-show graphics, signage, banners, booth materials, and promotional assets.

Video & Motion Content

• Shoot, edit, and produce short-form video for social media, product presentations, sales enablement, training, and event recaps.
• Create motion graphics, animated explainers, and simple animations to communicate product features, equipment use, and workflows.
• Manage video and audio equipment, basic lighting setups, and multimedia project files.
• Organize raw footage, source files, and final multimedia assets.

Digital & Web Design

• Create visual assets for websites, email campaigns, social media, paid advertising, landing pages, and digital education.
• Edit and optimize photography, product images, and other visual assets for both digital and print use.
• Adapt creative materials across different formats and platforms while maintaining visual consistency.

Product & Information Design

• Develop clear product-focused materials that communicate features, benefits, use cases, and technical specifications.
• Translate technical information into visuals that are easy for different audiences to understand.
• Create diagrams, icons, simple illustrations, and infographics to communicate complex information clearly.

Brand Consistency & Production

• Maintain brand consistency across typography, color, imagery, layout, motion style, and overall visual communication.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and export-ready video and motion files.
• Coordinate with external vendors regarding specifications, proofs, production timelines, and quality when needed.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all creative deliverables.

Collaboration & Project Management

• Collaborate with U.S.-based Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.
• Work with technical and subject-matter experts to ensure materials are accurate and appropriate for their intended audience.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining organized source files and asset libraries.
• Receive feedback from different stakeholders and efficiently incorporate revisions.
• Help evolve the client's visual identity while maintaining a professional and consistent brand.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia/Digital Media, Visual Communications, Marketing , or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
• 3+ years of professional multimedia design experience , including both static graphic design and video/motion work.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with branding, digital and print design, product marketing, information design, and video/motion content .
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud , particularly:
• Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• Illustrator
• InDesign
• Photoshop
• Acrobat
• Hands-on experience shooting and editing video for social media, websites, marketing, training, or internal communications.
• Familiarity with basic video production, including lighting, audio, and on-location setups.
• Experience designing across multiple formats, including web, email, social media, presentations, events/trade shows, and print .
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy, motion timing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to understand technical or product information and translate it into clear visual communication.
• Strong attention to detail, including proofreading, version control, and production accuracy.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Professional English proficiency , with the ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders in meetings, written communication, and day-to-day collaboration.
• Ability and willingness to travel to the United States occasionally for business purposes.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Guadalajara, Jalisco .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating marketing materials for healthcare, medical products, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry .
• Experience working with U.S.-based companies, clients, or stakeholders.
• Familiarity with healthcare marketing considerations, regulated communications, HIPAA awareness, or compliance review processes.
• Experience with Figma, Canva, WordPress, HubSpot , or comparable digital marketing platforms.
• Experience with 3D animation, technical illustration, product diagrams, livestreams, or event video production.

Work Model & Travel

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico . Candidates must be able to attend the office as required under the hybrid work model.

Occasional travel to the United States may be required for photo/video shoots, trade shows, events, meetings, or other business needs.
