Manager,Accounting

Purpose

The purpose of this role is to lead the accounting activities for all countries in the cluster, ensuring adherence to financial policies (internal and external), statutory/tax requirements, leading month‑end closing process, and coordination with the SSC for Treasury, A/P and General Ledger transactions.

This role also serves as the leader for the accounting team and is therefore responsible for all people management activities, including recruiting, team development, PMP, career development and coaching.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process and year‑end activities, ensuring accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Lead the annual budget process and monthly S&OP projections to Corporate, ensuring projection accuracy, timely information to avoid risks and support decision‑making.
• Responsible for Corporate and Local Ledger.
• Serve as the key point of contact within the cluster for coordination with the SSC on Treasury, A/P, R2R and General Ledger topics.
• Prepare and submit statutory requirements and/or serve as key point of contact with outsourced statutory agencies in the cluster members.
• Coordinate internal and external audits as well as SOAR testing.
• Act as Finance Controller, ensuring compliance with policies across the region.
• Provide finance support for administrative functions in the cluster, including functional payments processing (working with SSC, payroll, treasury, etc.), non‑inventory purchase orders, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage and ensure compliance with processes for Trade Compliance, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, AP, Insurances and Legal.
• Act as Legal Representative for Mexico and Costa Rica, serving as the main point of contact for any legal (non‑labor) matters.
• Manage the accounting team (leads and analysts), including all recruiting, team development, PMP, and coaching.
• Support all corporate compliance with entities in accordance with the Tax Team.
• Manage main vendors regarding professional services.
• Oversee compliance and support of the Toluca Plant and Distribution Center.
