Canadian startup company that will manufacture sports equipment requests a Manufacturing Engineer.
Job Overview
Reporting to the Industrialization Manager and/or Site General Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer provides product, process, and manufacturing support to the manufacturing site.
The Manufacturing Engineer will interact closely with the other Operations teams and Product Commercialization Team to enable maximum efficiency and execute project deliverables at the manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide product, process, and manufacturing support at the manufacturing site.
- Interact closely with Operations teams and Product Commercialization Team to improve efficiency.
- Lead complex projects, manage project plans including risk management and communication.
- Assist with manufacturing site start‑up and ongoing operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) and 5 to 10 years of manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing site start‑up.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience in composite/pre‑preg carbon fiber, layup sheet analysis, liquid paint, molding process, and tooling design.
- Experience in composite (thermoset and thermoplastic) is an asset.
- Experience in automation processes.
- At least 5 years of related job experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience leading complex projects and managing project plans, including risk management and communication, in consumer product goods and/or sporting goods.
- Experience in additive manufacturing (3D printing) is an asset.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, PRO ENGINEER, MS Office, and MS Project. Adobe Illustrator is an asset.
- Availability to travel internationally 2 to 3 times a year (visa and passport required).

Type of Position: Full‑time
Salary: Up to $55,000.00 per month
Schedule: 8‑hour shift
