Requirements

Description

• Define the brand platform: purpose, positioning, personality and tone of voice. Turn it into guidelines the whole company can use. The words come first and the visual follows from them.
• Keep every channel coherent: organic social, YouTube, paid, CRM, web, events, PR and partnerships all have to sound like one brand. Same for traditional media (OOH, radio, TV) if we open it. You own the agency relationships and you represent Platzi outside.
• Lead the social media and content team (4 people): set the strategy and the standard.
• Own YouTube strategy: we have one of the largest channels in the region. You need to understand it deeply and make it better.
• Grow the personal brands of our internal voices: founders, teachers and experts. This should be a real part of the brand plan, not something that happens by accident.
• Own the brand story for companies
• Own the numbers: brand health (awareness, recall, share of voice), reach, traffic, and registrations for our big moments.
• México: grow the Platzi brand to a household name.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years in brand and marketing ,.
• Proven experience taking a new or small brand to a known one in Mexico, where you live today.
• A full marketing view, not only social media.
• Team leadership and strong creative judgment.
• You know the local market from the inside: its culture, its media and its audience.
• English B2 or above.
